As Ralph Waldo Emerson rightly said, "There is a great deal of poetry & fine sentiment in a chest of tea! " Buddies cafe is the heart of this poetry & sentiment in the southern India, christened in 2012 by Mr. Nirmal Rah whose inspiration was his loving father Mr. Daniel Dhanaseelan (Late) who was a renowned tea maker and tea taster himself. Nirmal's journey with tea began as a kid when his mom used to take tea stock in a tea factory and his bed with a bunch of warm tea gunny bags! The flavor & tea aroma of tea leaves revolved around his life .

 His love for tea made him embark his journey further with Buddies cafe being first tea room in South, BC began with just 15 varieties of tea and right now it brew over 100+ varieties of tea from around the world! Most of teas are handpicked from the organic gardens by the farmers who practice biodynamic cultivation method. We source teas directly from the farmers and practice FAIRTRADE policy with utmost love. Normal says it's Love and Happiness that add more taste to his tea! Every tea served at BC is freshly brewed by World Class tea master! 

Sunny days guarantee that our patio will be full of guests enjoying a drink or treat. On not-so-sunny days, we also offer comfortable seating inside our cafe with free wifi and plenty of outlets!
